About Us

Located just up the street from the historic Larchmont Village, Landis Gifts & Stationery has long been recognized for its exceptional service.

Edie Frère, Founder

Edie has been designing invitations, advising hostesses, and personalizing customers' stationery wardrobes for over three decades. Her favorite way to work is collaboratively with brides, event planners, and people who love to entertain and/or to correspond. Early in her career, Edie worked in Europe for many years, including a stint as social secretary to the American Ambassador to France. She loves paper and printing and is a firm believer in the lasting pleasure of a handwritten note — both for the recipient and for the writer.

Ricky Mallory, Design Wizard

Ricky has been exceeding the expectations of Landis customers for six years. From typesetting and event logos to envelope linings and photo finessing, Ricky is endlessly creative in designing invitations, party accessories, custom notepads, and personal stationery. He earned a degree in painting from Cal State Long Beach, and in graphic design from Cerritos College. He has created a series of correspondence cards (and exquisite place cards) based on his original watercolors.

Embossed Graphics makes it simple and easy to order custom stationery from home. Be sure to sign up for our mailing list to learn about monthly specials. Monthly specials online are different than specials offered in-store. Some of the offerings include flat and folded cards with raised text, notepads, memo pads, and custom napkins.
